My involvement in ceramic arts has been a large part my adult life. I’ve worked in ceramic studios in both Australia and the UK and I have both an Associate Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Ceramics. In 2012 I completed a two-year Associateship with the Jam Factory Arts Centre in Adelaide. 

As an artisan, I strive for a level of craftsmanship that will satisfy both myself and the user. I’m also drawn to the idea of minimalism, where less is more.  I consciously try to use the smallest range of materials and colours, and the shapes and forms that are characterised by simplicity, clarity and singleness
